For the course “Entrepreneurship and Project Management” my group developed a business plan for a new company, called KORKEK, that will produce leather-like shopping/tote-bags made out of cork fabric (also called cork-leather). The brand’s main values are natural, handmade and unique, which suggests that the bags will be produced in Sweden, the cork sourced from Portugal and the unisex design will attract customers with a conscious mindset and interest in sustainable designer fashion.
This is a first computer sketch, how the bags could look like. Simple design meets a unique material that has been used for many other things in the past and could now conquer the fashion market due to its leather-like but cruelty-free character.
This task did not focus on the visual part of a business but more on writing the business plans and getting numbers right. We thought it would be nice to have our own logo and an example product though, so I quickly created this provisional cork-oak-tree logo for KORKEK. I am excited to see where this project will take us!
